Yair began his military service in Matzov alongside Ron and Ariel, where he worked on the development of advanced security and encryption systems. After completing one of the unit’s flagship projects, he was awarded the Major General’s Excellence Award. He went on to lead and establish multiple R&D teams and played a key role in joint developments between the IDF and Israel’s defense industries.
Prior to co-founding Aryon, Yair was part of Paragon, where he built and led a new unit focused on pioneering a new field of intelligence-gathering capabilities. His work directly contributed to a significant increase in the company’s revenue, demonstrating his ability to identify and execute high-impact technological and product initiatives. His expertise in developing novel cybersecurity solutions from the ground up is a cornerstone of Aryon’s proactive approach to cloud security.
Beyond his work in cybersecurity companies, Yair has been deeply involved in Israel’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Together with Ron Arbel, he co-founded the Matzov Entrepreneurship Forum, which has grown into one of the most influential platforms for cybersecurity entrepreneurship in Israel.
